The Galleon

The Galleon condominium is one of the few condos on the beach that is not just a rectangle or some variation thereof. The structure is best described as “J” shaped with the curved part farther from the beach and the top of the “J” pointing directly at the ocean. When Galleon Galt Ocean Mile was built in the late 1960s it had a gold mid century fascia on the front of the building that unfortunately did not age aesthetically. A hurricane a few years back damaged the fascia and was not able to be replicated. They removed the whole fascia and it really made a difference in modernizing the condo’s appearance. Condos range from the low $400ks up to the $900ks for the two stacks directly on the ocean with unobstructed views.
