The Essex Tower is nestled on a side street just before you go over the Las Olas Bridge towards the ocean on the right side. You get the benefit of being just a few hundred yards away from Las Olas Boulevard without having to deal with the traffic. Its popularity can easily be narrowed down to two things location and price. You can still get a condo for anywhere from $250k for an original condition unit with not much view to $450k for a nice view and mostly updated. There has also been a shift in the demographics of the building to younger buyers looking for the ideal location at a reasonable price. The combination is hard to find in Fort Lauderdale. There are 170 units in this 16-story building located just blocks from the beach and just off Las Olas Boulevard.
