Lake Estates

Lake Estates is one of those neighborhoods that has a unique suburban charm and almost all of the houses are located on a canal. Boaters are attracted to this neighborhood due to the backyard canals that are usually 80’-100’ wide and can accommodate average sized power boats. While there are a couple of fixed bridges before you reach the Intracoastal Waterway, their clearance is generally high enough for boats around 25’ in length. I have listed and sold in this neighborhood and it always amazes me how friendly the neighbors are when you meet them. Most of the streets in Lake estates end in a cul de sac, so there is little traffic and it is very walk and family friendly. Lake Estates is located between US1 and the Landings North of Commercial Boulevard. Often buyers that are looking in the Landings cross shop this smaller neighborhood because they don’t have a huge boat and don’t want to spend the extra money.
