Bay Colony is generally considered the most exclusive neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale by many. This waterfront gated community is filled with large upscale houses and many that are more accurately described as mansions. Many houses are located on the water and have yachts to take advantage of the lack of fixed bridges to gain access to the Intracoastal Waterway.
