Lauderdale by the Sea

Lauderdale by the Sea is one of the most inviting and popular cities along the coast in today’s market. Ideally situated between the Intracoastal waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, you can walk from the Intracoastal to the ocean in five or six blocks in most areas. Along the way there are myriad of small independent restaurants and shops to choose from. The heart of the city is the roundabout a few hundred yards from the massive Pier that is a tourist area. This is probably the most walk or bike friendly areas along the coast. Somehow, they have managed to keep the small seaside friendly feeling that you don’t find in the bigger coastal cities. Especially in season January – April, the streets are packed with smiling tourists and snowbirds enjoying the amazing weather. Most of the larger condos are located away from the city center and are farther North on A1A the beach road. I’ve had listings ranging from the mid $200ks up to $3.5 million, so there are usually options for every type of buyer. Many past buyers have insisted that Lauderdale by the Sea is their only choice to buy in. Its one of my favorite areas and I would love the chance to show you how special it is if you’re looking in the area.
