Seven Isles
Seven Isles is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale. Many of the most impressive waterfront houses populate this enclave in Fort Lauderdale, especially the mega yacht friendly point lots on the Intracoastal Waterway. By reputation, it would seem Seven Isles is a larger community but there are only 315 houses and a little over 1,000 residents. It was part of the larger land boom in the 1920s and was a huge undertaking. The canals needed dredging to accommodate boats and develop specific neighborhoods. Prices range from modest Spanish style homes in the mid one millions up to tens of millions for point lot mansions that can accommodate mega yacht size ships. Seven Isles’ popularity with yachting is mainly due to the proximity to Port Everglades and no fixed bridges.
